Drain Re-Lining Saves £ Thousands
Drainage Consultants Ltd. has recently been employed to carry out work at the Countess of Chester, Cheshire.
Our skills and expertise were required in order to re-line 300 metres of 300mm diameter drain that was located 7 metres below ground level. The work was crucial in preventing the complete failure of the drainage system.
The re-lining work was very successful and saved the hospital hundreds of thousands of pounds in comparison to conventional trench excavation work.
As work began we were faced with untimely snowy weather conditions which made the installation process extremely difficult.
We overcame this however with good management and quick thinking and the implementation of hot cure methods using our own boiler system.
The hospital management were impressed with the efficient and professional way in which the work was carried out and with the methods used. There was limited distruption to the hospital, its patients and staff.
We are extremely pleased with the success of the work carried out.

We Seek Out the Leak!
After four months, thousands of litres of water and the failed attempts of local water engineers. Drainage Consultants were brought in to carry out leak detection works at a commercial site in Coventry.
Using our expertise and experience in listening techniques and CCTV Survey equipment we were able to locate the prevailing leak within one day!
We provided proposals on the day for the necessary repairs, our client accepted and the remedial works were carried out immediately. |
